2) My assumption toward the service- learning site would be that most of these people barely understand or cannot speak the English language. Most of these people have some sort of education background, because most of these people are taught that education is the least important factor in life. I also assume that these people will stick to their traditions and beliefs throughout their life.
3) World Relief is a organization that helps people in refugees come to America for a better life. Their job is to provide theses people with care, and help them learn the basic needs of life. For example, they help them by teaching them how manage their money, education, cultures, rights, and day-to-day bases. Their main propose of this organization is make these people feel important of who they are and how to gained valuable workplace experience for your future career.
4) I believed that most of the people they served would probably be Burmese (Chin and Karen), Bhutanese (coming from Nepal), Iraqis, Congolese, Eritreans, Cubans, Sudanese.
5) Being able to volunteer at World Relief is such a great opportunity, because you become more understanding of how difficult it is for these people to manage a new different life. I hope to connect with the family and throughout the years I hope to come back and help everyone that I can. The service- learning site really inspires me because they help people in refuges have a second chance in life. They want people to know that they are still important and humans just like the others. I also have love how they make the understand that it's okay to have different beliefs, and it's not their faults for being different.
